Orvia: Private Browser
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Orvia: Private Browser (the “App”), developed by VIET - NHAT HUMAN RESOURCES SUPPLY (“we,” “us,” “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Android devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and Google Play’s terms.
2. What the App does
Orvia is a mobile web browser. It lets you search and open websites, manage tabs (including incognito tabs that skip local history), save bookmarks, download files, block many ads and pop-ups, use Anonymity Shield, and optionally turn on Secure DNS.
Secure DNS is not a full VPN. When enabled, the App uses Android’s VPN API only to encrypt DNS lookups (via Cloudflare). Your IP address stays visible. Page content is not sent through a privacy tunnel. Do not use Orvia as a substitute for a commercial VPN, anonymity network, or legal advice.
Ad blocking and Shield reduce some trackers and leftover session data on the device. They cannot make browsing anonymous or hide you from the sites you visit.
Some flags and layouts may be updated with Firebase Remote Config without an app store update.
3. Websites you visit
You are responsible for the sites you open and the content you submit to them. Third-party websites, search engines, and downloads are not controlled by us. Their terms, privacy policies, and security apply. The App may show a prompt if a site asks for camera, microphone, or location; you decide whether to allow it.
Orvia can be set as a handler for http/https links. Opening a link in Orvia does not mean we endorse that destination.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the App to violate law, including copyright, fraud, or unauthorized access
- reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code except where applicable law allows
- redistribute, resell, or sublicense the App
- interfere with ads, billing, or security mechanisms, or abuse rate limits
- present Secure DNS as a full VPN or as a way to hide illegal activity
5. Ads and optional purchases
The App is free and displays advertisements unless you complete an optional in-app purchase that removes ads, where offered. Ads are provided by Google Mobile Ads and mediation partners. You must be old enough to use Google Play and advertising services in your country.
Paid features are sold through Google Play Billing. Prices appear in the Play purchase sheet. Charges, taxes, refunds, and restoration follow Google Play’s Terms of Service. We may verify purchase status with Google to unlock entitlements on the device.
6. Intellectual property
The App, name Orvia, and related branding are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership. You keep rights to content you create or bookmark; we do not claim ownership of websites you visit.
7. Disclaimer
The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that browsing will be uninterrupted, error-free, virus-free, or private against every tracker, or that ad block and Secure DNS will work on every site or network.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VIET - NHAT HUMAN RESOURCES SUPPLY is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App or of any website opened in the App.
9. Changes and termination
We may update the App or these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date on this page. Continued use after changes take effect is acceptance of the updated Terms. You may stop using the App by uninstalling it. Ending use does not automatically cancel Google Play purchases; manage those in Google Play. We may suspend the App if you violate these Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply.
