Orvia: Private Browser
This Privacy Policy explains how Orvia: Private Browser (“Orvia,” “the App,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you use the Android app. Orvia is developed by VIET - NHAT HUMAN RESOURCES SUPPLY. We do not sell your personal information.
Orvia is a WebView browser. Pages you open are requested from those websites. Those sites have their own privacy practices. This policy covers what Orvia and our service providers process.
1. No account
Orvia does not require you to create an account. We do not ask for your name, email, or phone number to use the App. If you email us for support or feedback, we receive the address and message you send.
2. Information stored on your device
The following is stored in the App’s private storage (or system download storage) on your device unless you clear it:
- Language, search engine, desktop-site, and other settings
- Bookmarks, browsing history, open tabs, and the downloads list (regular browsing)
- Ad-block on/off state and filter data used to hide ads on pages
- Anonymity Shield and Secure DNS on/off state
- Cookies, cache, and WebView site data for pages you visit
Incognito tabs skip adding pages to local history. Anonymity Shield can clear leftover session data (cookies and WebView storage) and limit screenshots. Uninstalling the App or using in-app Clear browsing data removes this on-device data. That does not erase data that websites, Google ads, Firebase, or Play Billing may retain under their own rules.
3. Information processed when you browse
When you open a URL, the App’s WebView sends that request to the destination site. The site may receive your IP address, user-agent, cookies, and any information you type into that page (search queries, logins, forms). Orvia does not operate those websites and does not receive a copy of every page you visit on our own servers.
Your chosen search engine (Google, Bing, or DuckDuckGo) receives the queries you submit through the address bar according to that provider’s policy.
Sites you visit may ask for camera, microphone, or location. Orvia only forwards those requests after you confirm a prompt. You can deny them. Orvia does not use camera, microphone, or location for its own product features.
4. Secure DNS (not a full VPN)
If you turn on Secure DNS, Orvia starts a local Android VPN service used only to encrypt DNS lookups and send them to Cloudflare (1.1.1.1). Webpage traffic is not tunneled. Your IP address remains visible to sites you open. Cloudflare may process DNS questions needed to resolve hostnames. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
5. Advertising, analytics, and configuration
Orvia is free and shows ads. We use Google services that are standard in our Android builds, plus optional ad-mediation and measurement partners. These services may process advertising ID, device and app information, coarse diagnostics, crash logs, IP address, and interaction data so we can show ads, measure stability, attribute installs, and configure the product.
Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and mediation
Ads may be served by Google and mediation networks bundled with the App (for example AppLovin, Meta Audience Network, Mintegral, and Pangle, when enabled). See Google’s advertising technologies and each network’s policy. In the EEA/UK we use Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) so you can manage consent where required.
Firebase (Google)
The App includes Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, and Remote Config under Google’s Firebase privacy terms. Crashlytics may collect stack traces and device model to fix bugs. Remote Config may change product flags without an app update.
Attribution (Adjust / AppsFlyer)
When configured for a release, Adjust and/or AppsFlyer may process advertising identifiers and install/event data to measure campaigns. If a token is not configured, that SDK is not used to identify you for campaigns.
Optional in-app purchases
If you buy an ad-free or similar entitlement, Google Play Billing processes the payment. We do not receive your full payment card details. Purchase status may be stored on the device and verified with Google Play.
We do not sell personal information. Advertising partners may use identifiers to personalize or measure ads according to your consent and device settings (for example Android Ads / Limit ad tracking).
6. Permissions

7. Legal bases (EEA/UK)
Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we process data to provide the App (contract / legitimate interests for on-device browsing features and security), and we rely on consent for personalized advertising and similar processing presented by UMP. You can withdraw consent in the consent form or device settings. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
8. Retention and deletion
On-device browsing data stays until you clear it, uninstall the App, or use Android Settings → Apps → Orvia → Storage → Clear data. Google ads, Firebase, Play, Cloudflare DNS, and websites you visit retain data under their own policies. See our Data Deletion page.
9. International transfers
Google, Cloudflare, and other partners may process data outside your country, including the United States. They do so under their contracts and safeguards.
10. Children
Orvia is a general-audience browser and is not directed at children. Do not use the App if you are not allowed to use Google Play or Google advertising services in your region. Parents can uninstall the App and review Google’s ad personalization settings on the device.
11. Security
On-device data is protected by Android’s app sandbox. Websites you open, ads, and DNS lookups travel over the network. Use HTTPS sites when possible. Secure DNS encrypts DNS questions only.
12. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing, or to object / withdraw consent. Because we do not run user accounts, the practical way to delete Orvia’s copy of local data is to clear storage or uninstall. 13. Changes
If we change what the App collects or how SDKs are used, we will update this page and the effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
